Chapter 3: Cold Questioning
Sadhvi is on the mission of finding those couples reading this book. Searching in the library, Sadhvi started questioning the librarian to help her with the records of who all have borrowed that book till now. Savi asked Librarian did she knows Kevin and Sana? Librarian was in her thirties giving suspicious looks to Sadhvi as if she will be arguing with Kevin and Sana for doing something with that book. But Sadhvi was not going to do that anyway. Literally, after a hundred's of Assurities, Pleasings, Promises, and gestures, the librarian finally gave her the contact list of 15 people who borrowed and even read the book this month.
15 people's data was extra work, and there was no one with a name like Kevin and Sana. The list wasn't helping so Sadhvi thought to look out in the library itself. Sadhvi hopelessly sat on the table near the rack where she found this book. Thinking deeply, Sadhvi's eyes were trying to recognize faces she spots regularly when she visits the library.
Sadhvi speaks with herself that cold questioning about the couple might help. She started with the women there because Sadhvi believes women might behave friendly while reaching out for help. Asking men was a little awkward for her, especially those who are busy pecking in the books and Sadhvi asking for some help with them. Sadhvi after asking with 2 to 3 women finally found one helping her.
Sadhvi spoke with one old woman, whose name was Rosy, who was in her retirement and who loves reading and says,` I think I know the couple you are asking for. Sana, her full name is Sanaina actually'
Finally, there was someone to proceed with the story for Sadhvi to make it to Sana. Sadhvi's breaths were longing. There was some ray of hope now. Later, what Rosy revealed about Sana was very moving.
